Ohio's Best Amateur Golf League
The Golf Season will tee off on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 4:50, weather permitting. 20 weekly matches and four Majors will determine this year's winner of the GCO Cup.
PUBLIC LEADERBOARD
The GCO league is a nine hole, friendly, yet competitive, fully handicapped, men's golf league. Golf is played each Wednesday after work at the excellent Shale Creek Golf Course which alternates the nines. This will be our second year at Shale Creek following several years at Pine Hills. The GCO also features four 18-hole Majors at various Top 20 courses during the season and these weekend tournaments have a significant impact on league scoring. We permit 2 "bye weeks." The GCO also pits its top membership in year ending Ryder Cups against other leagues in intense team play. For 2012, we will carry approximately a 36-man league. We are looking for golfers with handicaps between 0-12 for nine holes, that is basically keeping your nine hole score below 50. We use the tees of at least 6600 yards and USGA rules. League dues are $50.00 per person plus you will be required to pay your own greens fees. Weekly greens fees are about $22 with cart and range. Walking is permitted. The league is maintained over the Internet and via e-mail. The league fee is required in advance of the season. Our first tee time each week is at 4:50 but players are permitted to tee of as late as 5:30 if you are running late. For league applications, see below.

We are accepting a limited number of applicants for 2012. If you are a bogey golfer or better, at tees around 6600 yards, consider joining us in 2012.
If you can manage most of the late Wednesday afternoon tee time and the four 18 hole weekend Majors, send us your application now. There usually are a limited number of spots available.
