Comments: Visiting in sept with 20 senior golfers. Have been in Painesville before and played Fowlers, Madison and Little Mtn. Wood like to change 1 or 2 for this visit. any suggestions? Thanks for your time.
Comments: Does anybody know what kind of shape Forest Hills (south of Elyria) is in? I know the former superintendent left and the heat has hurt so many clubs, so I don't want to get all the way there to find out it's in bad shape.

Comments: Played Berkshire Hills the other day. The teeing areas were a mess. As bad as bad can be. Some greens had some issues too. Too many trees, no sun gets in there.
Comments: I have heard no other details from Valley of the Eagles, and have not had my inquiries returned. Last I heard, they had a problem with seeding due to wet spring and now hot, dry summer which is causing the delay, but I drive by there and it looks nothing like a course that's ready to be opened.

Comments: I see Fox Den in Stow isn't reviewed here. It's a course you should check out. Way nicer than Raccoon Hill and I think it's a better layout than Ellsworth. Only 6500 yards but its a fun course. I think it's worth the drive.

Any other details on Valley of the Eagles? Are they just running behind schedule or have they run into other issues (maybe financial?).
I called out there to get an update but no one answered the phone.

Comments: Played Wicked Woods last week. Very disappointed. They can't even move the tee markers to a different spot on the tees. Dirt between the markers. Sad.

I would agree on Boulder Creek. Was there a week ago and conditions couldn't have been better. You won't be disappointed!
