Comments: Love the east side golf courses. Played Fowlers Mill, Sugarbush, Manakiki, Little Mountain & Hemlock Springs in 5 straight days - Great golf! Does anyone know if there are any plans for Thunder Hill in Madison? - My favorite course in the world.

Comments: I was able to play sleepy hollow this weekend and the course is in as good a shape as i've seen it. Fairways were in great shape and the greens had some speed. They were a tad bumpy but we also played late in the day I would definitely recommend heading out there if you get a chance.
Windmill was also in great shape when I played out there a month ago
Comments: Played Creekwood and Springvale over the last couple of weeks. Courses were in the best shape I've ever seen them. May not be the flashiest layouts, but the course conditions plus affordability should give some of the higher end courses, in less than stellar shape, a run for their money. Some of the higher end courses are pricing themselves out of the average Joe market.

Comments: Played Grey Hawk in Lagrange a few months back. Conditions are still really poor. Fairways had weeds and clover in them and the greens were very bumpy and burned out. This course has had some tough times the past few years. I wouldn't be surprised if it closed soon. Such a shame. This course was spectacular when it first opened along with blue heron.

Comments: St. Denis golf course has raised their rates. Me and my old frt buddies usually walk nine there a few times a week for decades. Last year we paid about $11, maybe it was less if early. Now they want $15 for nine walking, senior rates. Huh? Are they nuts, that much for THAT course? I can do a lot better elsewhere.
Comments: We played Sugarbush this past weekend;it was in great condition I would recomend this course to anyone!

Comments: Just played Little Mountain. Course may be coming back to good condition. A little brown here and there but fairways were in great shape overall. Greens running fast and smooth. But the bunkers.... still with the bunkers. Some are ground under repair, others should be. Perhaps they should redesign these extravagant sand traps so they are not such an expensive maintenance problem. Many have been brought back up to standard, but I doubt they will get to them all before the ones they already fixed need to be repaired again.
